Making it to the record books has become Ansu Fati’s favourite hobby and the Barcelona Prodigy added one more feather to his wing as he became the youngest goalscorer ever in the El Clasico.
A bad outing for the Blaugrana giants as Zinedine Zidane’s men came out on top in the world’s most iconic rivalry. It was a must win tie for the Los Blancos as they gave away 3 important points to fellow UCL Group mates FC Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this week.
It was Real Madrid’s 97th Clasico win against FC Barcelona. Fede Valverde scored past Neto in the 5th minute and 3 minutes later it was Lionel Messi who found Jordi Alba with a beautiful pass, and Alba passed it to Ansu Fati who did a tap-in for an instant reply.
Both the teams settled on level terms at the end of the first 45 minutes but Luka Modric and Skipper Sergio Ramos had different plans. The full time whistle saw Sergio Ramos securing his 45th Clasico win against Lionel Messi’s 44 wins.
Barcelona’s best takeaway from a disappointing match would surely be Ansu Fati’s goal. The Spanish Wonderkid is now the youngest scorer in El Clasico history, Spain’s national team history, Champions League history and Barcelona’s La Liga history. Record breaker, history maker.
