ICC is not describing anything regarding Worldcup as they have had quite a few meetings among their Board of Controllers. BCCI is now complaining that ICC is delaying the decision of Worldcup because they doesnot want to let IPL happen this year. According to sources Shashank Mahonar the chairman of ICC has always been a trouble maker for BCCI. He always creates a rift between the two Governing Boards. ICC held a board meeting earlier this month stating they are waiting to decide and are exploring on contingency plans. They will wait for another month and will then decide what to do.

Shashank Manohar of ICC

The Nagpur based Lawyer’s frosty relationship with another former BCCI president N Srinivasan is believed to be the root cause of the tensions. BCCI has stated that they are planning IPL (Indian Priemere League ) on the month of september. BCCI also stated that it is difficult and quite impossible to hold it in India so they are in talk with UAE , Srilanka or South Africa. All the respective Cricket Boards have responded well. Srilanka is one of the most suited places to hold this edition of IPL sources revealed. As the Country is having three grounds  – Premadasa , Pallakele and Hambantota. Srilanka will be  more cost effective compared to UAE and South Africa and its an ideal country to host the event in september stated a former Indian Cricket Legend.
