Northeast United FC decided to part ways with their Spanish tactician Gerard Nus following the side’s 1-1 draw against Bengaluru FC.
Big news coming in from Goa that Northeast United have decided to part ways with Spanish Head Coach Gerard Nus as their winless run continues.
The Spanish tactician kicked off his journey in the ISL brightly as his side defeated the current table toppers Mumbai City FC and stole the show as underdogs. His side looked good in the early stages of the league but they lost momentum.
The Guwahati based club Northeast United FC is winless in their last 7 outings having lost 3 of their last 5 games and are on a downward slide. They find themselves in the bottom half of the table and things have only got worse for them. Gerard Nus was able to gather a total of 12 points which includes 2 wins, 6 draws and 3 defeats in a total of 11 matches in the Hero ISL.
Gerard Nus’ side earned their first point of 2021 just a few hours ago against Bengaluru FC. Head of Academy Khalid Jamil will take over as the head coach for the remainder of the season.
