Dylan Fox : NorthEast United signs defender from A-League club Central Coast Mariners

Northeast United FC have signed Australian-Irish Defender Dylan Fox as their first Asian Signing to fullfill the league’s change in foreign players policy.

The 6’1 feet tall defender started his career with Australian club Sutherland Sharks in 2013 but a lack of game time saw the player moving to another Australia based club Bonnyrigg White Eagles for the next two seasons.

In 2015, Fox signed the A-League outfit Wellington Phoenix offering him a two-year contract and represented their reserve side as well as in the main team having a total of 53 caps.

The year 2019 saw Fox and Wellington Phoenix parting ways on mutual terms due a season ending injury. In March 2019, Dylan joined Korean second division side FC Anyang but things did not fall at place and Dylan Fox returned to A-League. He signed for New South Wales based club Central Coast Mariners on a 1 year deal.

The 26 years old did not renew his contract with his former club and has agreed terms with Guwahati based club Northeast United FC. Dylan Fox‘s Defensive partner will be Belgian defender Benjamin Lambot.
