England Vs West Indies :1st Test at Ageas Bowl

Cricket has finally resumed as England vs West Indies series has started at Ageas Bowl .

The very first day was washed out as England won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 35/1 on the first day. Ben stokes is the new skipper in absence of Joe Root.

After 117 days of pandemic which has hit all of us cricket is back on field definitely without crowd but cricket fans are excited to watch live matches.

England batted first at scored 204 runs. West Indies bowlers have done a decent job to counter the English batting. Rory Burns and Dominic Sibley opened the innings and Kemar Roach bowled the first over. Shannon Gabriel took the first wicket of the match.

West Indies bowled very well and took all ten wickets at day 2 . They came to bat as Kraigg Braithwaite  and John Campbell opened the innings and James Anderson took the 1st wicket for England .

England struggled to bat well but skipper Stokes scored 43 runs which is highest from England scorecard. Shannon Gabriel and skipper Jason Holder are the heroes of West Indies bowling lineup as they took 4 and 6 wickets each. West Indies while batting looked well but still lost a wicket. Lets see how does the 3rd day of test match goes on.
