Take us through your Debut for the Indian U23 national team. How does it feel donning the blue jersey ?
Gaurav : We were in Manipur when I got the callup for the U23 National team, we had a disappointing match as we drew 3-3 against Neroca and I was not happy. I went out for dinner with my friend and I just saw messages popped up and I had no clue about it.
I saw the messages that read, ” Congratulations Gaurav for getting a callup for the U23 National team.” I was blank when I read those messages because it was very unexpected and then my manager called me up and congratulated me. It was a good feeling for me as it was my maiden national team callup but because of the disappointing draw against Neroca FC it didn’t seem like a big deal to me.
