The Bengaluru FC star made the most out of the lockdown not just in terms of fitness and football but even in terms of sketching. During the lockdown he was very active on social media and gave everyone a glimpse of the artist who resides within him.
The Arjuna Awardee has expressed his desire to help Women’s Football grow. He has planned to auction the sketches he has made till date and wants to put an helping hand forward to empower Women’s Football.
Recently, Gurpreet took to social media and annouced that he will auctioning his sketches and asked everyone to come forward and be a part of this great cause. The money will then be handed over the organisations who work to empower women’s football in the country.
“The winning bids, however small or big, will be doubled and more by me and sent as a donation towards organizations that work for the development of our women’s football because it’s her game too.” Said the post.
India’s Number 1 did not hang back to give credit to his fiancée Devenish Singh who gave him the much needed push to start this initiative to help and empower the young budding female footballers in the country.
