Mumbai City FC:

Mumbai city FC have arouse and responded well in their previous two games, after a disappointing start the new campaign as they were defeated by the highlanders, as they have won their next two games, picking up all 6 points and placing themselves comfortably in the upper half of the season.

Especially in the last game against Rpbbie Fowler’s SC East Bengal, Sergio lobera’s army were at the absolute peak of their powers, as they completely slaughtered their opponents and comfortably won the match 3-0. In that game, Hugo Boumous really lived up to everyone’s expectations, as he provided 2 assists and won a penalty for his team and contributed to all their goals. This was not at all a suprise for the spectators, as everyone is already aware of the capability of Boumous. Also in that game, their new signing and their most valuable one Adam Le Fondre performed really well as he scored a brace and was another important factor in the win.

Mumbai City FC’s defence was also really disciplined throughout the game as they successfully managed to keep the East Bengal defence quite almost throughout the game. But whenever the attack made any chance, Amrinder Singh came to the rescue and denied East Bengal on every occasion.

Odisha FC:

The Juggernauts haven’t enjoyed the best start to the season, as they haven’t won yet in the new season after a draw and two losses against Hyderabad and ATK Mohun Bagan.

In the previous game, that was against ATK Mohun Bagan, the long resistance failed in the 94th minute injoy Krishna neta the only goal of the match and won it for the them and denied Odisha a point.Stuart Baxter’s side are yet to show their full potential, as they haven’t done enough to mark an impression in the season yet.

In their previous game that was played against ATK Mohun Bagan, they put up an commendable defensive performance as they managed to keep the high flying attack of ATK Mohun Bagan quiet for almost 90 minutes of the game before conceding the goal. Even on the attacking half, Odisha managed to place two shots on target but weren’t able to capitalise.

Now, with both teams facing each other, Mumbai City FC have a slight advantage due to their current good form, but Stuart Baxter’s men can’t be underestimated at any coast, as we have seen it this season before when Odisha FC came back from two goals down to make the score 2-2 inside the final few minutes of the game and managed to bag a point. However, one thing can we can’t deny is that this game expects a lot of drama and gaol irrespective of who wins or loses.
