The million-dollar cricket league of India, IPL 2021 auction is likely to be held on Feb 11.
The IPL authority also set the deadline for the eight franchises to submit the lists of retained and released players on January, 21.
According to news, there was a plan to organise this year’s with ten teams but due to lack of times in this pandemic situation BCCI decided those new teams will be added to the IPL 2022. The pandemic situation is yet to fully improve and this is the reason for delay to decide about the venue and date of the league.
GC chairman Birjesh Patel has decided that they will yet to see the situation during Syed Mustaq Ali trophy before deciding about IPL. According to news BCCI chairman Sourav Ganguly is very confident about organizing the IPL 2021 in India. Now, look into the rooms of IPL franchises.
CHENNAI SUPER KINGS(CSK): One of the most successful teams in IPL history, 3 times IPL champions and reaches 10 times to the playoffs but failed to reach the playoffs and finished the league at 7thposition last year. The main reason of this failure is the average age of the players is too much high. As per the news, CSK want to release Murli Vijay, Imran Tahir, Lungi Ngidi, Ambati Rayudu, Peeyush Chawla, Kedar Jadhav, Monu Kumar and KM Asif. Shane Watson already took his retirement. CSK team management’s main target in this year to sign some youth batsman and also make their pace bowling unit more powerful.
Mumbai Indians (MI): The most successful team Mumbai Indians won the IPL title of the previous year and it was their fifth time to win the title . All players played a impact game full season but as per the news MI want to release Dhawal Kulkarni, Rittherford, Saurabh Tiwary, Chris Lynn and Anmolpreet Singh.
Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB): Every season RCB tried to do their best but every time they failed to win a cup. They also got a good start but failed to fulfil the dreams of their fans again. As per the news, RCB wants to release Moeen Ali, Pawan Negi, Parthiv Patel and Dale Steyn. Dale Steyn also announced he will unavailable in this year’s IPL 2021 via his Twitter handle.
Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH): Last year is the average year for both KKR and SRH. They both failed to reach playoffs. In the mid of the season KKR changed their captain and it’s not a good season for Sunil Narine as a batsman. As per news, KKR want to release this year Tom Banton, Nikhil Naik and want to sign some middle order batsman. The released players’ list for SRH is Basil Thampi, Siddharth Kaul, Mitchell Marsh and Stanlake.
Kings XI Punjab(KXIP) and Rajasthan Royals(RR): Rajasthan royals finished their position in the bottom of the table. As per the news RR want to release Jaydev Unadkat, Ankit Rajpoot, David Miller and Manan Vora. Latest news about RR is that the team management plans to release Steve Smith also for his strike rate and average of last season.

Kings XI Punjab badly started their IPL journey but after the comeback of Universal Boss Chris Gayle they finished their journey in a respective position. As per the news KXIP want to release Glen Maxwell, Darshan Naikande and Jimmy Neesham.
