Paul Pogba’s form has always been a concern for Manchester United. He either plays like the best midfielder ever or the worst midfielder ever. There is no between.
Over the last two season there have been ample rumours linking the Frenchman with a transfer to Real Madrid or former club Juventus. But he has stayed at Old Trafford and has again started replicating his old form. His agent the infamous Mino Raiola had said that United had misused Pogba and that his time was over but Pogba at the moment atleast seems to be committed to the Red Devils. He scored the winner against Burnley yesterday and had some pretty impressive stats. He completed the most passes(71) and also won the most duels(12) in the match. Pogba didn’t seem a part of Solksjaer’s plans at the beginning of the season as he was often benched but after the West Ham game where he scored a stunner, Pogba has become and regular starter and has performed quite decently.

His overall stats are certainly decent as well. He has a passing accuracy of 83% and has completed 543 passes. He has created 11 chances and has given 11 key passes. Solksjaer often uses him as a defensive midfielder and Pogba has been fairly solid. He has a tackle success percentage of 78% and has blocked 4 shots. He has cleared the lines 21 times and also has 15 headed clearances. He has also intercepted the opposition 15 times. Quite good.
Should Pogba move on?
At the moment, NO. But if again due to some reason he finds himself as a benchwarmer then it would be good for him to move on. Real Madrid and Juventus would love the Frenchman in their teams and would be a great addition for both of them. Moreover, both Andrea Pirlo and Zinedine Zidane know a thing or two about playing in the midfield and would certainly be able to bring out the best in Pogba. Pogba has always been open about his admiration for Zidane but the prospect of playing under former team-mate Pirlo will also attraction him. For now though it will be best for him to stay focused on the current situation.
