Q4. What’s your basic style of play, how do you want a team to play, should they be offensive, should they press, stay defensive, how do you like to shape the team?
Kibu- Every coach has a different philosophy and a style of play. I like to play offensive football and try to be the team that controls the game.
Q5. What are your thoughts about KBFC, and also what are your thoughts about the Manjappada(the fans of KBFC)?
Kibu- Without a doubt, KBFC is one of the most important teams in the ISL with one of the biggest, popular and passionate fan bases in the whole country. I was very happy to meet a few members of the Yellow Army in Warsaw.

Q6. We all know that this season is going to be very different from other seasons, there won’t be any fans in the stadium and the teams won’t be playing in their home ground or their fortress, so we think that these factors will take their toll on the players mentally and if such a situation arises how would you address it?
Kibu- Yes, this season is going to be different in all aspects. It will be very hard for us to play in a stadium without our 12″ man. However, it is more important to give in our 100% on the field and showcase a good and enjoyable game of football while competing in the ISL to make our fans proud, because they are truly deserving of it.
Mental health and well-being of players is definitely one of the most important aspects to build a successful team, not just during this adverse situation of COVID-19, but generally as well. We will continue our weekly sessions with players, support staff and the administrative team to encourage trust and a better bonding among team mates.

Q7. Please tell us how did football make an entry into your life and why did you choose coaching as your career?
Kibu- Football is my passion and I love the sport. I started playing football since I was six years old and ever since, my whole life has been around the game. I was a part of the team at school, university, Spanish 3″ Division and International tournaments. I also started coaching at the age of 16.
