Q8. You’ve also worked as an assistant coach with the Polish club Legia Warsaw. Now people who follow fan clubs and ultras, surely do know about the fanbase of Legia Warsaw, who give life to the Zyleta. They are just an incredible bunch of supporters filled with enthusiasm who are in love with the club. So how was your experience with the club and what are your thoughts about their fan base?
Kibu- Similar to Kerala Blasters, the Legia also has a fantastic fan base. They are all across Poland and not just at the Zyleta. I had a great time at the club. Over 5 seasons we won 2 leagues, 2 cups and 1 Super cup. We even played against some big teams in Europe. I have amazing memories of playing in a Legia stadium at full capacity, winning the league and celebrating with the fans.
Q9. What is your best moment as a coach, Iike the one you can never forget, the one that will stay with you forever?
Kibu- I have a lot of special moments but winning the I-League with Mohun Bagan is very memorable, since it is a recent memory and also the first time I won as the Head Coach of a team. Unfortunately we couldn’t celebrate it with our fans due to the pandemic, but it was still a very special moment.
Q10. Who is the coach you are most inspired by or the one youve grown up watching as coach?
Kibu- There are a number of coaches who I look up to like Vincente Del Bosque because of the way he leads his teams. I think Pep Guardiola is the best coach right now. Jurgen Klopp, Julian Nagelsmann and Julen Lopetegui are also very good coaches. Of course, Marcelo Bielsa is a fantastic coach and one of the best in the world.
