Paris Saint Germain began their preparations for the much awaited Quarters finals of the champions League with an emphatic 9-0 victory against Le Havre, but playing against Belgian second division side Waasland-Beveren marked their homecoming to the Parc des Princes.

The champions of France took the lead in the 21st minute when defender Aleksandar Vukotic scored against his own team courtesy of a intimidating cross from the World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe. PSG bolstered their lead with Neymar converting it from the spot.

But, the moment to watch for in the fixture was when the away side were down to 10 men and the reigning champions of France were awarded a 2nd chance to convert it from the spot. Well this time around the Brazilian winger rolled the ball towards the right for the incoming Argentine Target Man Mauro Icardi to smash it into the net. This moment that underlined the gulf in class and it came from PSG’s entertainer in chief: Neymar Junior.
The same trick was tried by Current La Liga champions Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema and skipper Sergio Ramos but was a total flop.

Naturally, they ran away comfortable 7-0 victors with Neymar, Mauro Icardi, Kylian Mbappe, Loic Mbe Soh, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (x2) and an own goal filling the scoresheet.

PSG will go all out to bring the elite championship to the Parc des Princes for the very first time.
