Patrick Kluivert fired as FC Barcelona Academy Director by Laporta Board

Kluivert out as Academy Director, as Laporta clearly shows he has other plans for FC Barcelona

José Ramón Alexanko is said to be replacing Kluivert by next month, as decided by newly-elected President Joan Laporta. Unlike the other members of the Bartomeu board, Laporta has allowed Kluivert to finish and clean up the season before leaving.

José Ramón Alexanko was a former Barcelona defender, and also an assistant coach under the spell of Charles Rexach who secured the famous napkin signing of Lionel Messi. He is strongly rumored to be joining Laporta’s team as Academy Director for La Masia.
