Trouble mounts ahead for IPL 13 as protocols set by BCCI are not followed

It is safe to accept that there was some mismanagement regarding the Covid protocols which was provided by the BCCI.

Few days ago 12 support staff member alongwith two prime players of Chennai Super Kings had tested positive for the coronavirus, and so on the vice captain of the three time champions Suresh Rains pulled out of IPL due to personal reasons and will miss the entire season this year.

Earlier for the formation of bio-bubble many teams followed their respective SOP’s and strictly quarantined themselves except Chennai Super Kings.

According to the sources, The Chennai skipper MS Dhoni insisted Chennai officials to hold a 5 days training camp before they take off to Dubai.

He said that the players have been inactive for nearly 4-5 months. But we all know that the ongoing Covid-19 situation in India is horrible. So the fact is that 5 days camp is really worthwhile for the players?

CSK landed in UAE 30 days earlier before kick-off so there will be lot of time to conduct the practice seasons. But the current space is not in favour for CSK as a result they have to wait till September 6 to start their initial practice sessions.

In these trying times the focus should be on the fitness and health. The rules and regulations are not just made for the players but for all the support staffs. There is one video which claim that the CSK members did not maintain the SOP’s and was seen hugging with one person before entering the hotel.

Some sources also clarify that the universal boss Chris Gayle was present in an Ad-shoot after joining the Kings XI Punjab squad. The question is If he would end up in such bad situation who’ll be responsible for that?

Yesterday on Bold Diaries Virat Kohli said, “We’re all here to play cricket not to have fun and chilling around the park. We have to understand the privilege we have in front of us, everyone should accept it and they should not have unrealistic desires.”

Meanwhile, the fixture of upcoming IPL is still in isolation. Hope the dates will be released soon. As per sources the opening game of the season will be between MI and RCB and we are sure it’s gonna be a cracking one.
