Sergio Lobera’s Men enjoyed the possession but lacked any clear cut chances to note. Yet again it was an opportunity for the Nizams to take the lead in the first half when Mohammed Yasir set up a perfect through ball for Joel Chianese.

The Aussie’s shot forced Amrinder to make a save and keep the scoreline at 0-0. Just before half-time Adam le Fondre’s long ranger tested Laxminath Kattimani and the latter was in no mood to give away a clean sheet in his 50th Hero ISL appearance.

The second half saw Hyderabad FC pressing high and this tactic almost paid off when an under pressure Amrinder Singh gave away the ball to Liston Colaco and Goan forward’s effort went wide.

Minutes later it was again Amrinder who was brought into action by Aridane Santana with his header from the far post. A rare sight to witness came in when Rayneir intercepted the ball from Chinglensana Singh and made a run towards the box but it was the Nizams’ Spanish stalwart Odei Onaindia came at rescue and cleared the

danger.

The closing stages saw a move by the League Leaders when Ahmed Jahouh lifted up a beautiful pass for Bartholomew Ogbeche whose volley went over the top.
Hyderabad’s new import Roland Alberg was pushing for a winner and dribbled past Borges and Amay to enter the box but Ahmed Jahouh’s well timed tackle saw the Dutchman’s effort being ruled out.

It was a well earned point for both the sides as the match ended with a scoreline of 0-0.
