BCCI announced that the mini auction for IPL 2021 will be held at Chennai on February 18. Sixty one slots are needed to be filled.

Kings XI Punjab has the maximum amount of money (53.2 crores). Royal Challengers Bangalore has the maximum number of slots (13) while Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders has the least amount of money.

In the past, just before the auction the Indian Premier League released many players namely Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, James Pattinson, Billy Stanlake and many more. This is a mini auction. The mega auction is supposed to be held in 2022.

Three players who can take an eternal allot in this auction:

Maxwell can make it big in IPL 2021

Glenn Maxwell: Maxi always plays a massive role in the T20s.In the BBL 2020-21 he scored 379 runs with a strike rate of 143.56 and an average of 31.58.He has become the representation of the modern cricketer known for his excessive style, irregular bowling and stormy batting. He is a classic T20 player. He has sold his skills all over the world like a materialistic soldier but in IPL 2020 he lost his form. However, form is all that matters in T20 cricket. The burden of expectations weigh heavily in his quick talent. So, he has been released from the Kings XI Punjab but he can surely take an eternal allot in this auction.

Chris Lynn: IPL 2019 records the best innings of Lynny in IPL till date. He had scored 405 runs in 13 matches at an average of 31.15 with a strike rate of 139.65, including four fifties. His highest score is 93 runs in IPL.In BBL 2020-21 he had made 420 runs in an innings of 10 at an average of 42 and a strike rate of 157.30 with a high score of 69. Recently in the month of November 2020 Lynny make 154 runs off 55 balls in a Queensland Premier T20 match. In BBL 2020-21 he also played well.He can surely take an eternal allot in this action.

Aaron Finch: Finchy made 268 runs in 12 innings in IPL 2021.He has played for a variety of teams in IPL.He was first selected by Rajasthan Royals then Delhi Daredevils then Pune Warriors India then Sunrisers Hyderabad then Mumbai Indians then Gujrat Lions then Kings XI Punjab then finally the Royal Challengers Bangalore but now he has released from Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is really a classy player and an aggressive top order batsman. He can also take an eternal allot in the auction.
