England’s Ex captain Nasser Hussain notifies Joe Root and said that they should anticipate India to come back at them. It will become difficult to win for England if they lose the toss in the second test on February 13.
Specially England won the toss in the first test and scored 578 runs after choosing to bat first. The declension of the wickets saw India getting stacked for 337 giving the Englishmen a 241 run lead. Unfortunately India becomes unable to chase a 420 runs target and lost the match by 227 runs.
Previously India lost the first test in Australia when they were all out for 36 and came back with a tremendous performance and won the series.
Hussain greets the performance of the Englishmen and suggested that the visitors have to persevere the momentum.
Saluting Joe Root for his magnificent batting performance in the past few tests Hussain called him one of greatest English batsmen.He added that Root will go past Alastair Cook’s record of 161 Test matches and most runs in the longest format from the country.
