Royal Challengers Bangalore signs New Zealand’s latest young and talented Kyle Jamieson for a staggering amount of Rs 15 crores.
Known for his excellent abilities with both bat and bowl, Kyle Jamieson was considered to attract the attention of franchises because of his superb performances in International cricket. RCB opened the bid for the kiwis all rounder at Rs 75 lakh . Soon , the Delhi Capitals chipped into the bidding battle and the intensity kept on increasing and increasing . Both the teams seemed desperate after the all rounder as it was worth going for the valuable kiwi all rounder . Within few minutes, the bidding crossed the 5 crore mark with RCB on the lead.
After some discussion, Delhi capitals continued to wage on the bidding battle . After crossing the 8 crore mark, Delhi capitals backed out considering their purse remaining . Right then , the Punjab kings made a late entry into the bidding battle as they had the bid at Rs 8.25 crores. Both the teams had deep discussions before raising the bat . The bid finally reached the Rs 15 crore mark as Punjab Kings rested their case .
Kyle Jamieson was sold to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a jaw dropping Ra 15 crores making him the fourth biggest bid of all-time in the history of the IPL . This will be a smart addition to the RCB squad considering the franchise had released Chris Morris before the auction .
Kyle Jamieson , who has taken 54 wickets in 38 matches in his overall T20 career , will be very handy both with the bat and bowl as he gets steep bounce with his enormous height and can hit the ball very very long and troubled the likes of Kohli , Pujara the last time India toured New Zealand.
