It’s either make it or break it for Barcelona as the Camp Nou gears up to host league leaders Atletico Madrid

This weekend will give us a clear picture about who’s going to win it this time around as two of Spain’s protagonists will face off at Barcelona’s fortress.

The La Liga is arguably the most thrilling league among Europe’s top 5 leagues as they still haven’t found a winner yet. With Inter being crowned as the Serie A champions and Manchester City all set to lift the Premier league, it’s all to play for in the Spanish top flight.

FC Barcelona have kept their faith alive to lift the La Liga after narrowly missing out on the title last season but standing in their way are league leaders Atletico Madrid who have been in a top form this season.

Simeone’s Atletico have displayed utmost character on the pitch and are couple of points ahead of the chasing pack. Both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid know how highly staked this fixture is going to be and there’s no room for complacency.

Barcelona come into this game with a 2-3 win away at Valencia in the absence of head coach Ronald Koeman and will be looking to carry the same form forward against Atletico. A win against Atletico will see them go top of the table and will be 1 point clear ahead of other title contenders.

Atletico Madrid on the other hand edged past Elche in a 1-0 victory in their last game, a game where they struggled to get things right but they won’t complain as the result went their way. A victory would put them 5 points clear at the top of the table with just 3 games to play but a loss will see them drop to the second position.

It’s going to be a blockbuster of a contest as a single mistake from either of the two sides would put a solid dent on their title aspirations.

Probable Starting XI:

FC Barcelona (3-5-2): Marc-Andre ter Stegen; Oscar Mingueza, Gerard Pique, Ronald Araujo; Sergio Busquets, Frankie De Jong; Jordi Alba, Pedri, Sergi Roberto, Antoine Griezmann, Lionel Messi.

Atletico Madrid (4-4-2): Jan Oblak; Renan Lodi, Jose Gimenez, Stefan Savic, Kieran Trippier; Saul Niguez, Koke, Marcos Llorente, Yannick Carrasco; Angel Correa, Luis Suarez
