Cloud hovers over the reds

Date:

Liverpool had the best run of this decade under Jurgen Klopp and under his management the reds won almost every trophy they could. From winning Champions League after qualifying twice for the finals of the tournament back to back and won the UEFA Super Cup also. The super cup was a surprise win because the No.1 goalkeeper of the side Allison was injured and inn came Adrian who was out of contract and what a turnaround it was for his career.

They even won the club world cup also in the same year but the most precious silverware they were after was the premier league title and last season they were ousted by Manchester City by just a point but this year the scene was something on a different stage.

Liverpool could only have dreamt of such a run in the history of premier league and even every other team would dream for such a streak as they almost went for the invincibles but that was not the case as they lost to bottom placed Watford then and shattered that dream but still winning a league title after 30 years of wait would surely had sufficed them.

The only thing that stops them from having the premier league is the coronavirus issue as they need to win just two games to make sure they have reached the maximum points a second place team could achieve this season. Football fans all around the world are eager as they wait for the start of the footballing weekends again.
