What made you choose Delhi Dynamos ( Now Odisha FC) over a few more clubs?
Gaurav : Joseph Gambau (Former Odisha FC coach) personally approached me after we won against Bengaluru FC in the Super Cup at the Kalinga Stadium. He told me that he likes my gameplay and he wants me in his team. Even our owner Mr. Rohan Sharma told me that he’s really excited to have me in his club.

Their statements were enough to convince me and even my agent told me that I should sign for them because the owner and the coach were so keen to have me in their team.

How was the shift from the iLeague to the ISL.
Gaurav : There’s not much difference between the ISL and the iLeague except a few a facts that ISL has more pace compared to any other league in the subcontinent and ISL players get the limelight. And also the investment made by all the clubs in the ISL is humungous compared to the iLeague.

Tell us about your debut against FC Goa.
Gaurav : I felt good because I always wanted to play in the ISL and I finally had the opportunity against FC Goa. I came in as an halftime substitute and I wanted to give it all on the pitch and I gave my best but unfortunately we ended up losing that match 0-3 at the Fatorda.
