Dinesh Karthik Praises Kolkata, said KKR is the best managed side in Indian Premier League


Dinesh Karthik : When it comes to handling of players KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS is the best franchise, said 35 year old Wicketkeeper Batsman.

Dinesh Karthik was bought by SRK owned KKR in 2018 for a price of whopping Rs.7.4 crore. He was Considered as one of the most capped players in this foremost league.

After Gautam Gambhir decided to join Delhi Daredevils, KKR management appointed Dinesh Karthik as the captain of their team. In the 12 seasons he had played for Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Royal Challengers, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions before taking charge as the Skipper of Kolkata.

Speaking on the RK show on YouTube, Dinesh Karthik said, ” I think I have come to probably one of the Best Balanced and Loving franchise. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with KKR, easily the best franchise I have played for, in terms of ownership and the way they have taken care of all the players”.

Kolkata Knight Riders supporters appreciated as one of the passionate spectators in Indian Cricket. Moreover The City of Joy has achieved the title twice, in 2012 and 2014.While chatting on RK show he stated lot of positive comments about KKR.

He feels that Kolkata Knight Riders team management created a very warm and sporty atmosphere around the dressing room.
According to him, “Over a period of time I have realised that KKR is the best when it comes to handling of players, handling of wins and losses, and overall camaraderie and the relationship they tend to have through the year, irrespective of whether the IPL is going on or not”.

He thanked the managing director Venky Mysore by saying, “Only when you want to come back and play for the franchise that the extra effort that you need to give when push comes to shove will come out. And a lot of its driven by Shah Rukh Khan and Venky Mysore. When you have wondered people like that it makes playing the sport easy”.

He feels a lot of love and affection along with that comes a different sort of pressure, where you want to do stuff for them. You want to show that you are repaying the amount of faith they have in you, it’s a very positive thing, he added.
