It is a testament to all my hard work and sacrifices made during my journey.”

Just like every other young gun, Rahul too has a dream to showcase his abilities on the top level of football and dreams to represent one of the top clubs in Europe. “A chance to play abroad will be a great opportunity for me to work on my skills and technique. It
will be also help me improve as a footballer on a holistic level. International experience is whole new and different challenge that forces you to come outside your comfort zone and better yourself. My dream is to play for one of the top clubs in Europe. I don’t have a choice in particular as of now. However, I’m willing to put in my best if I get an opportunity.”

Rahul KP belongs to golden generation of youngsters who represented India at the U-17 Men’s World Cup and he knows what is takes to that level. Here’s an advice from him to all the young Indian talents out there. “There are no shortcuts. To become the best, you have to work harder than anyone else. Put in that extra effort to realize your dreams. It is a process over time and will take a lot of dedication, determination, courage and sacrifice. Most importantly, focus on basics like eating right, getting a good sleep, maintaining your fitness and your mental health. These play a major role in the development of a good footballer.” and signed off.

We would wish Rahul KP and Kerala Blasters all the very best for the ongoing season.
