The most awaited announcement has been finally made! Liverpool and English legend, Robbie Fowler has joined ISL side, SC East Bengal as their new head coach on a two-year deal.
As soon as the announcement was made, the fans of the Kolkata-based club went “gaga” over it. Before this, there were rumours that Ex-Assistant Manager of FC Barcelona, Eusebio Sacristan will join them East Bengal as their Head Coach but later, sources confirmed that it is not happening.
Though now, no more doubt is there when Robbie Fowler is here officially. The English Legend who dominated the English soil from 1993 to 2012 and has got 183 goals in 369 games for his name, the player who has received immense love and respect from football fans all across the world, is now set to reach new heights with the Kolkata giants.
Previously, Robbie Fowler was the head coach of Brisbane Roar in Hyundai A-League before joining SC East Bengal, where he had a pretty good season(2019-20).
