The Most Exciting Super Packed Sunday in Indian Premier League 2020

Dream 11 Indian Premier League was a blockbuster hit show on Sunday. As we all know Indian Premier League is heading towards its last leg and each team has crossed the mid tournament leg it is getting bigger and better. If we talk about the season so far then it has been humungously big and exciting because of multiple super overs and excellent batting bowling and fielding.

This sunday was super special as Sunrisers Hyderabad took on Kolkata Knight Riders in the afternoon and Mumbai Indians battled with Kings XI Punjab. KKR has not still made up the mark they have 10 points with them but still there are problems. Dinesh Kartik few days ago left captaincy and Morgan Took over moreover there were speculations but later on , it came up that DK left on his own. Now coming to yesterdays match. KKR batted first as SRH won the toss and elected to bowl first at ABU DHABI. KKR batting line up is not performing as they should , while they are mostly winning due to thier bowling.

Nitish Rana at no 3 has still not delivered and now the questions are coming up whether his position should be changed or he should be replaced. KKR scored 163 SRH required 164. SRH came up with something new as captain David Warner didnot came to open as there middle order is not so much strong this strategy was new and it has worked as Warner was there till the end. Russell bowled the last over and restricted them to win where it led to Superover.

Lockie Ferguson who bowled superbly during the match bowled another superb Superover where he took Warner and Abdul Samad in a quick succession. DK and Morgan came upto bat against dynamic Rashid Khan and won it for KKR.

Despite of winning the match there are few loopholes which needs to be covered very quickly. Andre Russell’s form is a big concern and middle order collapsing each day is also a concern for knights. Team management has to look after all this as it is heading towards the crucial stage.

The second match of the super sunday was between the Kings and Indians . This match was a big match for KXIP as they are at the bottom of the tables. To turn the tables they need to win each game from now .The openers in the side Rahul and Mayank is performing like bliss this season other than the Pooran is the only batsmen who has scored runs.

Chris Gayle returning to the side has made them more strong. So as to play against the table toppers Mumbai they wanted performances which was again not delivered by everyone. KXIP bowled first and played decently but the things turned down when again they were in a good position to chase but they lost momentum. KL Rahul again came as a saviour but couldn’t finish as Bumrah got the best of it. It led to super over.

In the history of Indian Premier League this happened as in the same day they 2 super overs was going to be played but the turning point was the super over again got tied and it led to another superover. It has happened first time in the history of the game. Mumbai Indians is a champion side and one cannot easily defeat them. KXIP defeated them in the second super over and won the match.

This was a super cracking sunday for cricket viewers as they saw 3 overs in a day . It is an amazing feeling for a fan to witness something like this.
