While it took his arch rival Christiano Ronaldo 112 more matches to accomplish the 700 mark, it took the Barca star 861 matches to achieve it . His kicked 582 goals on his left foot, 92 on Right foot, Header – 24, Chest and body – 2.

He’s followed by the Brazilians Romario who achieved 772 goals and Pele who kicked 767 goals. While the Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskas who procured 746 goals in his career from 1962-1981. Former Germany striker Gerd Muller scored 735 goals while Ronaldo bouted 726 goals. 


Lionel Messi, hit 630 goals in just 723 matches, being the highest scorer in the club’s history. He has been playing in Barcelona since 2004 and for his country since 2005. He scored 70 goals in 138 matches for Argentina. The six time Ballon d’or winner saw a new turn in career in the match on Tuesday. A full fledged champion he is… Who dare messes with the GOAT??
