Barbadian English bowler Jofra Archer will be unavailable on the second Test against India in Chennai because of an elbow injury assist through the series opener.

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said, “He will miss the Second Test starting from February 13 after having a dose in his right elbow.”

“The dose follows cramp to the fast bowler expertise in the first Test at the same ground”,ECB added.

Archer was expected to be rested throughout the series as a part of Englamd’s rotation policy.

ECB also elucidate that Archer had not assist the pain due to any earlier bug.

“The matter is not in relation to any foregoing injury and it is wished that the treatment will enable the situation to settle down expeditiously,enabling the player to come back into action in the third Test in Ahmedabad,” ECB declared.

Stuart Broad will be in line to take part in the second test with his proficient partner James Anderson.

The Englishmen lead the four-match series 1-0 after their 227-run win in the first test.
