Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali rises as New Sponsorship bid for IPL 2020 after Vivo exits

Due to the border tensions between India and China, BCCI cancels the title sponsor deal with Chinese Mobile Maker Vivo.

Currently BCCI is looking for a new title sponsor for their forthcoming IPL tournament. Lot of Indian companies have appeared in the bidding list but yet to take the final call.  Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurvedic considering bidding for upcoming IPL title sponsor.


One of the official of Patanjani named Sk Tijarawala said, “We are considering this, this is Vocal for Local and making a Indian brand as global, this is the right platform. We’re considering into that perspective”.

He also said that, BCCI showed some interest upon Patanjali and cleared that the proposal has to be submitted by August 14.

Patanjali Ayurvedic is a renowned association which provide FMCG products and vedic medicines. According to its data Patanjali’s annual turnover is about 10,500 crores. Right now the current scenario for Cricket is not in favour. However lot of speculation and rumours are spreading around the pitch.
