England came back with a bang in the 2nd test

Day 3 of the second test match was totally washed out which was in favor of West Indies but England were adament enough to win the match as they were prepared for anything worse to happen.

West Indies came to bat at day 4 where Braithwaite scored 75. Alzzari Joseph came as a night watchman at the end of day 2 and scored 32. Hope could not keep his nerve cool. Brooks played well and scored 68. Roston chase was good with ball and with bat too he scored a 50. West Indies lower order tumbled badly as they could not control England’s lethal bowling attack.

England bowled absolute stunner in the 1st Innings. Broad took 3 wickets and Woakes too. Bess and Stokes took 1 each and Curran 2. England’s plan was simple they wanted to counter the West Indies batting. West Indies did a mistake by opting to bowl first in this wicket.

Their plan towards England didnot work in this match. In the second Innings Stokes and Buttler went on to open and Stokes scored a fiery 75(57) balls. Buttler got a duck other than that Crawley , Root and Pope came into bat and they scored 129/3 which was enough for them to take all the 10 wickets of West Indies.

West Indies batting was destroyed at 198 runs as Broad took 3 Woakes took 2 and Bess and Stokes also took 2. Curran took 1. England was all ready to make a fiery comeback in this match.

This match was eventful as both teams played well and fought for their respective teams till the end.
