Tottenham Hotspurs are all set to make the biggest announcement of their transfer window. The boy whose roots belongs to London is all set to return. Yes, its happening! Gareth Bale, the left back who was converted to a Right Winger by the then manager, Mauricio Pochchetino, has signed a on-loan deal for one year.
On 1st September 2013, Gareth Bale signed for Real Madrid from the English Premier League side. At Real, he has won three UCL titles along with two La Liga titles and FIFA Club World Cup. It has been a great journey for the player until before the last season.
In the 2019/20 season, his form downgraded and he was eventually ruled out of the team. It was a quite difficult situation for the Welsh International as his service to the club for six years had lost it’s importance.
He decided to make a transfer request but no good offers were offered to him. But, Jose Mourinho took the responsibility of bringing back the boy to his ultimate home and the deal was finally done for €17m/year.
His agent, Barnett told BBC that Gareth Bale is very near to his return to England. And today, sources confirmed that deal’s done. Tottenham fans are hoping that Bale might regain his form back and should be eyeing Tottenham’s first ever EPL Trophy.
Now, only the progress in season will be able to say that whether Gareth Bale is their fairytale writer or just a waste of €17m.
