Q. What were your thoughts when you came to know that an offer has come from Northeast United FC?

Kai : I was really surprised when I came to know that a offer from Northeast United came but at the same time very excited.
For me it was a new adventure and a new experience.

Q. What made you choose Northeast United FC over Kerala Blasters? And how did you feel after signing for the Highlanders?

Kai : Northeast United was concrete and Kerala Blaster where just rumours.

Q. You have played under clubs like Ajax, FC Utrecht, Fortuna Sittard so after joining the North East United FC, what was your first impression on Indian Football?

Kai : It was a big change. Not specifically football but the weather was the biggest difference between Europe and India. Football have his own language with every football player can talk. Some players better then others ofcourse but at the end football is football.

Q. How much did you know about Indian Football and the ISL before arriving in India?

Kai : I didn’t know ISL very well but after watching some Youtube videos I saw that every game is like a big show and a lot of supporters came to visit the games. It’s always nice to play for a lot of people ofcourse.
