The battle of two clubs Manchester City and United became a red hot affair but City took it away from United.
After the semifinal result two great managers Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho will meet in the final for a Titanic clash in the cup final. Both Jose and Pep won the match easily. Coming back to the first match Jose had a easier match than Pep beating a championship team Brentford.
Reguilon gave a beautiful cross which Sissoko scored, which was key in the 12th minute. After that Tottenham controlled the match defensively then when you have Kane and Son you always have a chance to score a second at 70th minute by none other than Son. Then in 84th minute the red card to da Silva was last nail in the coffin for Brentford.
On the other hand City played the unplayable football which is too much for Manchester United to cope. Having said that United played first 15 minutes well Bruno fernandes had a glorious chance to his standard but City deputy goalkeeper Stefan saved that apart from that and Rashford scored a goal which was offside and couple of direct run at Zinchenko, Harry Maguire couple of half chance that’s it.
Where in the blues they could have scored 3 goals in first half with two goal disallowed one from Foden another from Gundogan plus Kevin de Brunye hits cross bar. In the second half they scored both the goals from set piece first in 50 minutes wide freekick which Zinchenko placed the ball in dangerous position where Maguire let it go and John stones Scored it in the back post, it is the second semifinal back to back where Harry Maguire let the ball go in his own penalty box.
The second goal in 83rd minute was from another setpiece this time a deep corner which Aaron Wan Bissaka just headed the ball in the path of Fernandinho at the edge of the box to which he said thank you very much. City outplayed United over the 90 minutes, but for Manchester United this is the fourth semifinal loss in a row for Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskaer. Overall both deserving team will be playing in the final.
