Speaking on the signing, Northeast United’s Executive Director Priya Runchal said; “Deshorn
brings with him the experience of playing in the top leagues across the world as well as a knowledge of Indian football. Both of which is incredibly valuable during this stage of the Hero
ISL.

We are confident that he will hit the ground running and will have an impact on the team as we look to push for a playoff spot” she further added.

Xisco Hernandez has been brought in to replace the services of the Jamaican striker. Both Bengaluru FC and Northeast United are going through a tough patch and have parted ways with their Spanish head coaches Carles Cuadrat and Gerard Nus respectively. The Blues and the Highlanders sit at the 6th and 8th spot respectively and will be hoping for greener pastures going into the second half of the season.

The 30 year old striker has made a total of 10 appearances for the Blues having started 4 matches and came on as a substitute on 6 occasions. The Highlanders’ new recruit will be hoping to make a turn around in his fortunes at Northeast United.
