The buzz for the third test began when India defeated the hosts at the MCG. The third and ongoing test is going on at the SCG and firmly as the hosts scored 338. Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne respectively scored 131 and 91. The young lad Will Pucovski also scored 62. These 3 batsmen scored the most runs as other players could not really contribute.

If we see Indian pace bowling attack there are no big names apart from Bumrah as injury is a concern but the pace attack is bowling decently and they are playing with a strategy. Each team have their potential match winners and this time Rahane leading team has found out their’ too in the names of Jadeja and Ashwin. The 2 prolific spinners are trying very hard to take wickets. Though Ashwin didn’t get any wicket but his support form the other end always helps a bowler.

India is currently 96/2, the two openers in which Rohit Sharma scored 26 and Shubman Gill Scored 50. Gill’ batting impressed everyone he also had a battle against Pat cummins his KKR teammate. He batted very confidently and played some great cricketing shots.

Day 3 will be crucial from India’s point of view as Pujara and Rahane are on the crease and they need to spend a fair amount of time and score some runs to build the innings as the Aussies will try to bank upon the total thanks to Steve Smith’ innings and get over the Indian batting form tommorow morning.
