It’s happening! Arthur Melo is moving to Juventus FC for £82 million.
On the other side, Bosnia-Herzegovina International midfielder, Miralem Pjanic would be joining FC Barcelona for £60 million plus €5m for possible add-ons and has agreed a four-year deal with a release clause €400m.
The £82 million that Juventus will be paying for Arthur Melo is actually £72 million + £10 million as potential add-ons. According to the FFP rules, both clubs will be able to report €60 million profit on their books, due to player amortisation.
Arthur Melo, a Brazillian International, who has dreamt of being a complete Barca player, has been forced to move from his dream club to Bianconeri, as reports say. With a new player in that pivotal position, Juventus look much more likely to unlock the beautiful style of football that they undoubtedly brought the current boss in to achieve. Many of his fans worldwide are not happy with this deal.
Uncountable fans of the Catalan Giants have even slammed this deal to be one of the worst deals in Football history. Arthur Melo, who is just 23 years-old, had much more to offer to this club and he has even got so many things to learn. Now, only time can say that, whether this deal would be worth watching or not!
