Former East Bengal striker and Indian forward Jobby Justin joins ATK Mohun Bagan FC as he signs a two-year deal with the Green-and-Maroons.
This year, in July, India’s one of the most celebrated football club, Mohun Bagan AC merged with Indian Super League’s Kolkata-side, ATK FC. The newly formed merged entity is called ATK Mohun Bagan FC. Jobby Justin was already a part of Antonio Lopez Habas’ champion side last season, but failed to have a great season, which would have been worth remembering as he was able to find the back of the net only once in the whole season.
But now, he might be seen in the playing XI as he will be the playing the role of the team’s main Indian Striker. He already has a derby goal for his name from his East Bengal days. It will be interesting for him to play for ATK Mohun Bagan FC.
But this season, more chances will be created and more opportunities will be their for converting them. We shall hope that he makes this season worth remembering, for his new side and score a lot of goals.
Jobby Justin would love to seize this opportunity for himself and make his break into the national side too. Every Indian player wants to have a successful stint with their national side along side their club career.
