The million-dollar cricket league of India, IPL 2021 auction is likely to be held on Feb 11.
The IPL authority also set the deadline for the eight franchises to submit the lists of retained and released players on January, 21.
According to news, there was a plan to organise this year’s with ten teams but due to lack of times in this pandemic situation BCCI decided those new teams will be added to the IPL 2022. The pandemic situation is yet to fully improve and this is the reason for delay to decide about the venue and date of the league.

As per the news, CSK want to release Murli Vijay, Imran Tahir, Lungi Ngidi, Ambati Rayudu, Peeyush Chawla, Kedar Jadhav, Monu Kumar and KM Asif. Shane Watson already took his retirement.
