Colombian Attacking midfielder, James Rodriguez joins EPL side, Everton from Real Madrid.
The news of him joining the PL side was kind of a ‘potential shock’ to the fans of the the Colombian playmaker. A player who started his career at FC Porto and eventually moved on to La Liga giants, Real Madrid C.F. where he flourished and undoubtedly reached the peak of his career.
In 2014, his goal in FIFA World Cup, got him a FIFA Puskas Award. Later in 2017, he joined FC Bayern München on loan for two years there also, he won many hearts. But now, joining a club like Everton might not benefit him for his future.
A team with a struggling nature and bearing a fear of getting relegated shouldn’t have been the place for the Colombian to land upon. A player with such potential and with a glorified past must have gone for a top-drawer team. But at the same time, Everton fans are seeing new hopes as they think that James is the player who could bring a change in the club’s history.
It seems that James has taken up a challenge to give the expectations of Everton a new height. Now, time will play the judge’s role to identify whether James a is the fairytale writer for Everton or he had just destroyed his career at a mere age of 29!
