Lionel Messi Transfer Saga takes a whole new turn as his future at Barca is questionable

Date:

It has been a week already that the best player in the world, Lionel Andres Messi Cuccitini sent a burofax to the FC Barcelona Board stating his will to leave the club.

Since then, it has been a complete drama going all over it. Big clubs from different leagues have approached Messi with huge offers but his release clause has turned the game into Barcelona’s favour, every time.

Infact, yesterday it was said that Bundesliga side, VFB Stuttgart had made a pretty big offer for La Pulga but the Barça board denied the offer as per reports. Infact, Premier League side, Manchester City who seemed to be the favourites to land the Argentine at the Etihad, also faced a hefty denial by the Barça board.

Lionel Messi has not even attended the Pre-Season Training as well as the PCR test that were held by the club on Monday. But today, the ‘biggest transfer saga’ in the history takes a whole new turn. Messi’s release clause’s expiration dates caused a major confusion due to change in previous season’s schedule because of the pandemic outbreak.

Today Manchester City once again approached and with record breaking transfer amount of £623 million and amidst the release clause, the club has shockingly agreed to it as claimed by the reports. It is also claimed that, Jorge Messi will be flying to Barcelona for the ultimate transfer showdown.
