Signed from Las Palmas 17 year old Pedri has already become a fan favourite at Barcelona.
The young Spaniard is one of the most versatile players in the Spanish top flight due to his ability to play on either side of midfield and attack as well as a central attacking midfielder. He is full of energy and has the knack of making the correct decision.
With the injury to Philippe Coutinho and the new 5 substitution rule Pedri has been enjoying ample game time and he has utilised it brilliantly. He scored his 1st goal for the Blaugrana in the Champions League against Hungarian champions Ferencvaros and also scored his 1st La Liga goal against Betis in a 5-2 win.
His best performance came at Turin against Juventus where he terrorised Juan Cuadrado on the left side of midfield. Although he is terrorising European defences he isn’t even old enough to drive and was seen riding a taxi to home from the Camp Nou.
From what we’ve seen of him so far he can be the perfect heir to Andres Iniesta and with a certain Lionel Messi to mentor him we can expect a glittering career from Barcelona’s number 16.
