Hero ISL 2020-21: ATK Mohun Bagan to face a great going Hyderabad FC at Fatorda

Date:

Antonio Lopez Habas’ ATK Mohun Bagan is all set to take on Manuel Marquez Roca’s Hyderabad FC at Fatorda Stadium in Goa. The match is going to be a nail-biting one as it will be the battle of two Spaniards but with different tactics. For the first time in the season, David Williams will be starting for ATK Mohun Bagan with Edu Garcia to play a crucial role of building the bridge between the defence and the attack line.

ATK Mohun Bagan has won three of their four matches so far including the Kolkata Derby. Habas had already said before their previous match against Jamshedpur FC that he is not at all happy with the team’s performance and according to him, a lot of work is needed. After losing 2-1 to Jamshedpur FC, ATK Mohun Bagan might have spent some time working on their flaws and the gaps in their three-man defense.

On the other side, Hyderabad FC will be using the versatile 4-2-3-1 formation with Lluis Sastre to play the role of their midfield general and will also be in charge of providing the perfect through balls to Ardiane Santana who has been fantastic in the season so far. Hyderabad FC generally prefers a counter attacking style of gameplay with a lot of long passes and through balls which may result to be lethal for their opposition.

And, what can we expect from the match? Well, we are hopeful to see a lot of through balls and counter attacks getting created.
