These two players from the visitors’ side may prove to be some serious threat to the home side as their current performances reflect the same.

Ben Stokes:

Without the slightest hesitation, Ben Stokes is one such player who can have a terrorising effect on the opposition side as he is one of the finest All-Rounder in the recent time. In all three formats, Ben Stokes has been consistent throughout and has always succeeded in giving an exemplary performance. Doesn’t matter whether he is hitting some monstrous sixes, or picking up wickets, Ben Stokes is always gonna do something beyond expectations. What if he doesn’t succeed with the bat or ball either? Not a matter. He is definitely gonna take some catches which the batsman didn’t even expect in his wildest dreams.

Mark Wood:

With Jofra Archer being ruled out of the ODI squad due to injury, all eyes will be now on Mark Wood as he will be the key seamer of the English seam attack. The 31 year-old English seamer from Ashington has played 53 ODIs till date and has picked up 64 wickets. His economy is around 5.51. Referred to as “Madman” by ECB, his stats fit pretty well in today’s fast-paced cricket. Moreover, Madman’s thunderous pace will surely be worrying feature of him for the Men in Blue.

Other than these two players, Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali will be also seen playing a major role as spinners are very effective when ODIs are held in the Indian subcontinent soil and with already having a star-studded batting line, the bowlers of England will be having some extra pressure on them for not proving to be too expensive for their team.
