#RaiseTheBat Resounding victory for West Indies vs England in 1st Test

#RaiseTheBat England Vs West Indies 1st Test at Ageas Bowl ended after a thrilling and exciting match.
Both the teams played well and competed well against each other. West Indies won by 24 runs. England scored 313 runs as Zak Crawley scored the highest and captain stokes scored 46 runs. Dominic Sibley scored 50 as Rory Burns 42.

Shannon Gabriel took a 5 wicket haul for West Indies. Roston Chase and Alzarri Joseph took 2 wickets each. Skipper Holder took 1 wicket. West Indies bowled exceptionally well as their two prime bowlers Gabriel and Holder took 9 wicket and 7 wicket in both the innings.

West Indies 2nd innings was planned beautifully rather their opening pair did not contribute much. Shai Hope and Shamarh Brooks also failed to scored runs. Roston Chase and Jermaine Blackwood took the responsibility and waited at the wicket for quite long time. Blackwood just missed his hundred by 5 runs as he scored 95 runs. Jason Holder was not out with Campbell as they won by 4 wickets.

England bowlers tried hard to stop the West Iindies batsmen but couldn’t as Archer took 3 Wood took 1 and Stokes 2 wickets each. It was a great game of cricket after 117 days of wait.
