5 players to watch out from Syed Mushtaq Ali to do well in IPL 2021 auction

The youngsters and senior players have stepped up to give their best and get an IPL contract for the upcoming season. Here are five players who have impressed franchises and are likely to start a bidding in IPL 2021 auctions.


1) Kedhar Devdhar (Baroda):
Kedhar Devdhar played many brilliant innings to lead Baroda.He scored 99 off 71 balls at a strike rate of 139 against Mumbai and gave Baroda a 60 run win. Although aged 31, he might be a short term solution for teams who are struggling with their opening pairs. He was part of Deccan Chargers in 2011 IPL edition. Hope he will get chance to play IPL in the edition of year 2021.

2) Avi Barot (Saurashtra):
The 28-year-old still awaits for an IPL contract but he will get one this time at IPL 2021 auction. Fourth in the list, he has scored 239 runs  at an average of 79.66 which includes one fifty and century each.

3) Mohammed Azharuddeen (Kerala):
Mohammed Azharuddeen is a youngster from Kerala  and he is not the Indian captain we are talking about. He is Kerala’s newfound talent who played one of the finest knocks in the history of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy . The 26-year-old slammed a 37-ball century, the joint-fastest by an Indian player in the format. He has an average of 83.50 which is too much impressive. Azharuddeen’s masterclass knock received praise from across the country. Numerous cricket experts are calling him a rising star for India. His knock has certainly opened the doors for an IPL contract ahead of IPL 2021.

4) Vivek Singh (Bengal)
One batsman who has attracted franchises attention is Bengal’s opening batsman Vivek Singh. After hitting brilliant 50 against Odisha, Vivek ended up hitting 64-ball hundred against Jharkhand. In his last two games he has hit 20-plus, giving his team a strong start. The scouts have liked him so much that he is now a hot-target for the upcoming auctions in the IPL.

5) Arjun Tendulkar( Mumbai):

Arjun Tendulkar will be hoping to be roped in by one of the eight franchises.The Chennai Super Kings might be interested in the speedster considering the fact that their senior players have reached the twilight of their careers and they need to revamp their squad. In the auction of IPL 2021 Arjun might get a bid from Rajasthan Royals too, as he will be a good support for their ace pacer Jofra Archer. Lastly, the Royal Challengers Bangalore might be another destination for Tendulkar as Virat Kohli has already faced him in the nets. Though he did not performed too much impressive in Mushtaq Ali Trophy with 7 runs and single wicket but looks like he will be part of any IPL franchisee.
