“Indian Skipper Virat Kohli likes to get in that tussle and it probably bring out the best in him,” said Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood.
Speaking on Star Sports show Cricket Connected, Hazlewood stated that Aussies will try to ignore any kind of duels with Indian Skipper Virat Kohli especially when he is batting. Recently Hazlewood’s ODI captain Aaron Finch praised Virat Kohli, months after addressing him as the greatest ODI Player.
“We try to probably stay clear of engagement, obviously. I think that was fully evident throughout the last series in 2018, ” said Josh Hazlewood. “I think he likes to get into the tussle and it probably brings out the best in him, especially when he’s batting and that was always a no-go-zone for the bowlers.” He stated.
Hazlewood and his teammates will feature against the Indian team only if the upcoming tour of Australia is held as scheduled. According to Hazlewood, the job is not quite the same when Virat Kohli is leading the team out on the field.

India to tour Australia for a four test series, beginning on December 3 in Brisbane. Thereafter India will play a day/night test from 11 to 15 December in Adelaide. Melbourne and Sydney will be the venue for the following rest two matches in the series from 26 to 30 December and ( 3-7 ) January 2021.
