Q. How was your journey with MCFC?
Abhijit : It was my first involvement under a club. So, for a first timer it was good experience. MCFC is one of the biggest clubs in India in terms of what they offer in structure and that is not the case with all the clubs. I had a lot of resources and the set-up was really good. Mumbai as a city is a great place to be in and I learnt alot of things over there. During my time at Mumbai, Alexander Guimararães was the Head Coach and he was a big general kind of guy and he has coached in 2 World Cups and it was a great opportunity for me to work with him.

Q. We heard that you were part of Star Sports analysis team too what was you role there?
Abhijit : Due to some issues I did not renew my contract with Mumbai and I got on board with Stars Sports Analysis team and it was a completely different experience. I got to work with the experts and the kind of details at a club is very high compared to the broadcasters because too much analysis doesn’t fit well on TV. So, we try to keep it as simple as possible. The main part was how you communicate your ideas and analysis with the Public.

Q. Can you sum up your role at Odisha FC?
Abhijit : I work as a performance as well as a recruitment analyst at Odisha. Performance analysis is what I do during the season and the pre-season with the coaches and recruitment analysis is what I do during the off season with the management. Every Coach has a different philosophy and demands and understanding their demands and requirements is the main part of my job.
