FC Goa are known from their free flowing attacking football and Coach Alison told us about what’s gonna be the plan against the Gaurs tomorrow. “They are a good team with good players and a good coach. We have analysed them. We have to approach the game well tomorrow. Hopefully, we do our best, we give a good effort and win,” he said.

Ashutosh Mehta and Dylan Fox were out of action Mumbai City FC owning to an injury and Coach Alison gave us an update on both the players. “They have started training. They have recovered very well and above that we will decide tomorrow,” he added.

After parting ways with the Spanish National Gerard Nus, Khalid Jamil has taken over the hot seat and has completely changed their fortunes. Coach Alison told us about the changes he observed under Khalid Jamil. “I would like to give credit to coach Khalid, our technical director, to all coaching staff and all the players who have done very well. We haven’t changed anything. We have just strengthened our attacking principle, strengthened our defensive principles. That’s the only thing and we try to play creative football. That’s the only thing,” he quoted.

The 33 year old also told us about the changes he has observed amongst the players and how they are trying harder than ever before during the training sessions. “Ya, we can see efforts from them and hopefully they continue to do that tomorrow and in the games to come,” he added.

Some of FC Goa’s players will be out of action against Northeast United and Coach Alison told us about what’s going to be his side’s approach despite the absence of a few key players. He said, “They still have good players in their squad. We have to be prepared for that and be ready tomorrow.”

Northeast United are clear about what they want and they want to qualify for the playoffs for the second time in club’s history. Coach Alison gave us his opinion on this and said, “That is our objective. We will go game-by-game, that’s our plan. We will try to win every match. We have to be consistent, that is the most important thing.”

Nim Dorjee Tamang is one of the very first players to represent Sikkim in the Hero ISL and he told us how it feels to represent his own region. “It feels great to represent Northeast United in the Hero ISL,” Nim added.

Nim Dorjee and Provat Lakra were surely one of the standout performers against Mumbai City FC as their contributions were felt on the both ends of pitch and Nim told us about what were the instructions they received from the Coach. “Our Coach showed his trust in us and gave us an opportunity to play. We will try to follow his instructions and give our best on field,” he added.

Northeast United clinched 3 back to back victories for the first time in the Club’s history and Nim Dorjee told us about the mood in the dressing room. “The Mood is great because we won 3 matches and we will be trying to give our best in the upcoming matches.” he signed off
